Frankston’s economy boomed over the last few years with record public sector investment in infrastructure improvements such as Frankston Train Station. Facilities, amenities, accessibility, affordability and new developments, sparked an influx of private investment, a significant increase in local employment and a large reduction in unemployment.

Frankston City’s economic output or Gross Regional Product was a massive $12.7 billion with the major contributors being Construction, Manufacturing and Rental, Hiring & Real Estate Services.
