Chisholm Institute’s Frankston campus is set to become a multi-level learning facility with new state-of-the-art facilities in a range of industries. From health, community care and early childhood education to beauty and wellness, purpose-built trades facilities all in innovative student spaces, the Frankston campus will soon be home to a plethora of skilled students ready to enter the workforce. Stage 2 of the Campus Redevelopment Project, using $67.6 million investment from the Andrews Labor Government, is part of the overall $107.6 million investment in the Building Better TAFEs fund.
These works will see the demolition of Buildings C and E and the construction of 9600 square metres.
With works expected to start in July 2021, this will enable thousands of new students to undertake vital Vocational Education and Training (VET) and higher education classes at one of Victoria’s most advanced and innovative training and skills institutes in Frankston, and will create around 136 local construction jobs.
